Six members of McGuireWoods Consulting’s North Carolina government relations team have been named to the inaugural NC Tribune and Business North Carolina listing of the state’s leading lobbyists. The list is based on who holds at least 20 relationships with businesses, trade associations and municipalities based on the North Carolina Secretary of State’s December report.
Those recognized from McGuireWoods Consulting include:
- Bowen Heath, senior vice president and director of the firm’s North Carolina team
- Dave Richard, senior vice president
- Tommy Sevier, senior vice president
- Johnny Tillet, senior vice president
- Harry Kaplan, senior advisor
- Amanda Falkenbury, vice president
The NC Tribune noted the list is an “effort to spread some light” and reflects the breadth of client relationships each lobbyist holds.
“Our team’s extensive client relationships reflect the trust that organizations place in our firm to navigate the legislative and regulatory landscape,” said McGuireWoods Consulting chairman Mark Bowles.
McGuireWoods Consulting president Gov. Jim Hodges echoed Bowles.
“Our North Carolina team gets rave reviews from clients and public officials for the depth of expertise and skill servicing clients across state government,” Hodges said. “These rankings are an affirmation of the feedback we get every week. I am proud of our team.”
Bo Heath, the director of the firm’s North Carolina team, spoke highly of the team’s depth.
“This recognition speaks to the strength of our team at McGuireWoods Consulting,” Heath said. “Our collaborative, 13-member team brings different perspectives, experiences and credibility to the table, making us successful in Raleigh. We are grateful for the confidence our clients place in us every day.”
