Prior to joining McGuireWoods Consulting, Alva has had an accomplished career in Finance and Operations in both the private and public sectors. Her strong analytical, communication and organizational skills provide excellence for the workforces she has supported to perpetually exceed its goals and redefine corporate expectations.
A graduate of James Madison University, Alva and her husband Don are the parents of two daughters, Jessie and Jamie. She attends Huguenot Road Baptist Church where she serves as the Treasurer.
