McGuireWoods Consulting’s Tommy Sevier was named a Legacy of Impact: Partnership Excellence Award honoree for Teach For America in North Carolina.
This recognition highlights Teach For America network partners who have made significant contributions and driven meaningful change in the community. This award emphasizes Sevier’s commitment to creating a brighter future for students and their communities.
Sevier was one of three to receive this distinguished honor and says that he is most proud of his strategic advocacy and collaborative efforts with the group which has successfully increased and retained their annual state funding by $5 million.
“Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of working with Teach For America to expand its reach and deepen its impact across our state,” Sevier said. “This investment has enabled more students to benefit from high-quality educators. I am honored to receive the Legacy of Impact for Partnership Excellence Award.”
