At the invitation of Codrin Scutaru and Public Affairs Solutions, a leading consulting firm in Bucharest, MWC’s President, Gov. Jim Hodges, had the honor of speaking to an influential group of Romanian business leaders. Gov. Hodges discussed the upcoming U.S. elections and addressed questions on critical topics, including trade and tax policy, U.S.-European Union relations, and the broader strategic priorities of the United States.
Romania, a European Union member nation of over 19 million people, has become an increasingly important partner for U.S. businesses operating in Eastern Europe. The conversation included leaders from major U.S. companies with a presence in Romania, as well as members of Romania’s business community interested in strong U.S.-Romania relations.
