Prashanth Adel is a research associate on McGuireWoods Consulting’s national infrastructure and economic development team, assisting with legislation tracking and issue management and state and federal policy research and analysis. He monitors a variety of state and local policy issues, including public finance, transportation, cybersecurity, resiliency, clean energy, and land use.
Prior to this role, Prashanth was a state government relations intern at McGuireWoods Consulting during 2024 Virginia General Assembly sessions. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2023, obtaining a B.A. with a double major in political science and in homeland security and emergency preparedness.
While pursuing his degrees, he served as a legislative intern during the 2022 and 2023 Virginia General Assembly sessions for Delegate Phillip A. Scott.
