Frank J. Donatelli, vice president and director of federal government affairs at McGuireWoods Consulting, authored an article featured in today’s Washington Times. Donatelli, former assistant to President Reagan for political and intergovernmental affairs, compares today’s political climate to the winter of 1980 when Reagan first captured Americans’ hearts and minds and set his trajectory to the White House. He highlights how “two tracks, one sports-related and one political, combined to give America a renewed sense of confidence that would usher in the dynamic decade of the 1980s.”
