Bucharest – McGuireWoods Romania’s office confirmed its commitment to US ADP (Automatic Data Processing) by helping open the Bucharest Center of Excellence. This event represented a milestone for ADP’s presence in Romania, which officially entered the local market in the fall of 2014.
The company aims to transform the Center of Excellence in a global hub supplying human capital solutions to clients all over the world. The Bucharest Center of Excellence currently houses about 80 employees, a number which is expected to rise to as many as 500 by July 2017 given early enthusiasm from ADP clients and the expansion of the Center’s coverage.
The event took place on February 24th and was attended by Romanian Prime Minister, Victor Ponta, US Charge d ’Affairs Dean Thompson, ADP’s President for Global Enterprise Solutions – and other senior ADP executives. It also provided a good opportunity for ADP to be introduced to relevant Romanian stakeholders, including government officials, leaders of various universities, and local media to open the door for future partnerships.
“I am delighted to welcome ADP, a client of our parent firm in the United States, to Romania as our nation has great talent to offer to this outstanding global human capital firm,” stated Nadia Crisan, Managing Director, McGuireWoods Romania. “The event was a huge success drawing key Romanian leaders and stakeholders, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with ADP as it moves forward with its investments in Romania.”
