McGuireWoods Consulting Announces 2024 Mid-Year Promotions

McGuireWoods Consulting announced three promotions effective August 1, 2024, recognizing the work of individuals in state government relations and the firm’s national in-house advocacy team.

Margaret Rockwell of the firm’s national infrastructure and economic development team was promoted to vice president. Margaret monitors public policy developments in a variety of sectors, including land use, resiliency, sustainability, energy infrastructure, data center development, cybersecurity, and transportation. She assists businesses, economic development organizations, localities, and trade associations in understanding the potential impacts and opportunities that may result from these policy developments. She also identifies federal and state funding opportunities and assists prospective recipients in implementing a strategy to secure discretionary grants.

Haley Durbin of MWC Advocacy, the firm’s national in-house communications and advocacy team, was promoted to vice president. She focuses her practice on elevating and advancing clients’ issues through expert strategic and digital communications, including deploying multifaceted campaigns. Haley collaborates with clients across a breadth of industries, including energy, water, healthcare, land use, and education.
