Gina Sherick recently entered into a strategic arrangement with McGuireWoods Consulting, whereby she will provide services as a policy consultant to clients on a range of healthcare issues.

Gina’s healthcare expertise covers the areas of post-acute care, dialysis, inpatient rehabilitation facilities, and home health and hospice agencies, among others. She also maintains a particular focus on matters pertaining to Medicare reimbursement, given her 15-year tenure working with a former CMS Administrator.

“Gina’s experience brings additional subject matter expertise and depth to our healthcare practice that enhances our ability to represent a full range of healthcare providers,” said Paul Reagan, senior vice president and director of McGuireWoods Consulting’s federal public affairs practice. “We are excited to work with Gina and look forward to continued success on behalf of our healthcare clients.”

Previously, Gina worked as a Senate staffer on Capitol Hill both within a personal office and on the Committee on Finance, then moved to the private sector as part of the Alston + Bird healthcare practice, and later Lincoln Policy Group. Gina then opened her own lobbying shop, serving clients at the federal level on a full spectrum of healthcare issues. Born and raised in Montana, Gina maintains bipartisan ties in Montana, Idaho and the Pacific Northwest.

“Gina’s long-standing relationships will help round out our ability to represent clients on the Hill,” said McGuireWoods Consulting president and former South Carolina Gov. Jim Hodges. “Gina has an impressive track record helping clients meet their legislative goals that in turn strengthen their business model, and we are excited to have her collaborate with our team.”
