The Hill announced its 2020 “Top Lobbyists” list Dec. 10, highlighting accomplished professionals from corporations, grassroots organizations, associations and hired guns in what was a challenging and chaotic year.
Two individuals were recognized from McGuireWoods Consulting’s Washington, D.C. office. Senior vice presidents Mona Mohib and Ryan Bernstein were all named “2020 Top Lobbyists.” Mohib and Bernstein assist clients in the federal public affairs space, and Mohib also practices within the firm’s national multistate strategies team. This is the third year Mohib has been recognized as top lobbyists by The Hill.
“2020 was a chaotic year for K Street, with the coronavirus pandemic and lobbying battles for COVID-19 relief legislation consuming much of the year. The presidential and congressional elections also kept lobbyists busy while they tried to find ways to network under the new normal of virtual work,” the article noted. “These are the people who wielded their clout and knowledge most effectively for their clients.”
