RICHMOND –McGuireWoods Consulting today announced that Gena McGroarty was promoted to vice president of MWCAdvocacy effective January 1. She will continue to serve clients with public relations, marketing, and strategic and crisis communications needs. Mrs. McGroarty brings nearly a decade of communications experience, including work with former Majority Leader Eric Cantor (VA-7), US Reps. Robert Hurt (VA-5) and Phil Gingrey (GA-11)
She joined MWCAdvocacy in 2016 after two years in Columbia, South Carolina directing statewide communications efforts for the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and working on digital communications and marketing at the South Carolina Department of Commerce.
