Bucharest (July 27, 2015) – McGuireWoods Romania announced today that former Romanian State Secretary Codrin Scutaru has joined its team as a Senior Manager. Scutaru, who is regarded as one of the top sociologists and political consultants in Romania, is a frequent guest contributor for Romanian media outlets penning articles on scientific, sociological and political matters and is also an active member of the community supporting several social responsibility initiatives.
Prior to joining McGuireWoods Romania, he served as State Secretary and Acting Deputy Minister of Labor within the Romanian Government. He has also served as the Social Policy Advisor in the Prime Minister’s Office, Policy Advisor for European Integration to the Minister of Labor, and Policy Advisor to the Minister and State Secretary of Education.
In the private sector, he worked as a public affairs consultant for prominent companies in Romania. Scutaru has also served as managing partner of his own advisory company where he assisted several European clients, including large financial and information technology companies.
