Discussions focusing on agriculture, an industry of strategic importance for Romania, were led by Managing Director Nadia Crisan and revolved around investors’ priorities as well as proposals for future policies that will help spur business growth. Nadia’s broad experience in representing agribusiness and food industry clients helped connect panelists and convey the key messages to the audience. Her tenure as Chairman of the Agriculture Taskforce in the Coalition for the Development of Romania and of the American Chamber of Commerce, business organizations that bring together senior executives engaging in direct dialogue with the government on national policies, also brought to light matters of essential importance in the current national and global context.
During the Summit’s second day, Senior Public Affairs Associate Andreea Dobra opened the automotive panel and moderated an active debate pointing out topics such as success stories on the Romanian market, recent network expansion for components’ suppliers, as well as the impact of regional clusters on the local automotive sector. From a moderator’s perspective, a large part of Andreea’s work at McGuireWoods focuses on state aid incentives and she was quickly able to associated the importance such projects have in the industry and their great potential for future growth.
