Mark has been involved in politics for more than 20 years having served as assistant attorney general in Virginia for four years prior to becoming legislative counsel for a multi-state utility association. From 1994 to 1997, he served as chief of staff to Rep. L.F. Payne, who is now president of McGuireWoods Consulting.
