This month, the North Carolina House and Senate began appointing legislative members to the 2013-2014 interim study and oversight committees in the General Assembly. These committees are responsible for providing oversight to laws that were passed during the 2013 long session, as well as studying issues that may be acted on during the 2014 short session.
