“Since 1990, its been our mission to have every child come to camp and get quality basketball instruction and to reinforce positive values in a relaxed and enjoyable environment – regardless of his or her family’s ability to pay. Everyone should have this experience, and we’ve found a way to make it happen,” said Tilett of the camp’s success.

Campers enjoyed the unique opportunity to develop their skills and learn by example from premiere North Carolina athletes.  With the largest turnout of any summer thus far, organizers were proud to report this summer enrolled 72 girls – more than ever before – to the coed program. Children of all ages lined up to have their basketballs and t-shirts signed by UNC men’s basketball players, such as Justin Watts.

The McGuireWoods and McGuire Woods Consulting logo were displayed proudly on the backs of 196 kids’ t-shirts. A special thank you is extended to all that aided this camp with personal contributions. Thanks to the many sponsors and donations, OBX 4 Corners Basketball Camp can continue to be a positive force for young athletes for many years to come.
