Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell announced that Capital One Financial Corporation will invest more than $150 million in a new data center to be located in Chesterfield County, Virginia.  The project is expected to create more than 50 jobs.  Capital One, headquartered in MacLean, is Virginia’s ninth largest private sector employer.

Chris Lloyd and Preston Bryant with the MWC Infrastructure and Economic Development team assisted Capital One with the economic incentives negotiation and environmental permitting.  MW Partner Ed Pittman led the law team on the real estate work.
