“We are very excited to bring Eric Lundberg on board to lead our grassroots efforts out of our Washington, D.C. office,” said Steve Horton, senior vice president and director of Grassroots Issue Management. “Eric has nearly 20 years of experience working on public policy and advocacy related issues at every level of government and his skill set and commitment to client service will be a significant asset to both existing and future clients.”

Prior to joining McGuireWoods Consulting, he served as vice president of client services at Goddard Claussen Public Affairs. In that capacity, he led the firm’s Client Services Group and developed and implemented over a dozen unique and concurrent advocacy campaign plans for a large national association.

Previously, Lundberg was the Grassroots Director for WellPoint, one of the nation’s largest health benefits companies, where he crafted and managed the internal and external advocacy program during the national healthcare reform debate. He has also worked for the DCI Group, Qorvis Communications, the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, and the Republican National Committee. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Public Affairs Council and previously served as Chairman of the Fairfax County Republican Committee.
