Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell announced today that Amazon.com will open two fulfillment centers in Virginia, creating more than $1,350 new jobs in Chesterfield and Dinwiddie Counties.

The company received $3.5 million in grants from the Governor’s Opportunity Fund, and $850,000 in Tobacco Region Opportunity Funds.  The company is also eligible to receive benefits and assistance from the Virginia Enterprise Zone Program and the Virginia Jobs Investment Program.
