The Super Committee was created by Congress this past August with a goal of finding $1.2 trillion in deficit reduction no later than December 23, 2011. The Committee is empowered to look at all federal spending and tax provisions in order to achieve its objectives.
McGuireWoods Consulting personnel will lead the discussion to supply context and an informational update on the Committee’s workings.
