The Virginia Public Safety Foundation today launched its fundraising campaign to build the Commonwealth Public Safety Memorial, which will honor officers killed in the line of duty.  The $2 million campaign will be spearheaded by a five-person committee consisting of MWC Senior Advisor Jerry Kilgore, former VPSF President and Chairman Julien G. Patterson, former Superintendent of the Virginia State Police Col. W. Gerald Massengill, former Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe and former VPSF President Jeff Mitchell.
