To better meet the needs of a number of clients, Heather Martin, Vice President of Grassroots Issue Management, will be relocating to the Washington D.C. office of McGuireWoods Consulting in June.  Heather has helped a number of energy industry leaders on issues related to climate change, state rate cases, and development of energy infrastructure over the past few years.  She has also performed work related to federal financial reform. Prior to joining McGuireWoods Consulting, she was Chief of Staff for the Virginia House Minority Leader and also worked for now-U.S. Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) and U.S. Senator Max Baucus (D-MT).

In addition to expanding the grassroots capabilities in the Washington office, McGuireWoods Consulting possesses a full bi-partisan team in D.C., including experts in healthcare, financial reform and energy issues. Our grassroots team has helped clients across the country over the last decade on a range of issues being addressed in statehouses and Washington D.C.
