WASHINGTON, D.C. –   McGuireWoods Consulting announced that Erik Rosedahl has joined the Grassroots Issues Management group as a vice president in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. He will focus his practice in the areas of strategic planning, message development, issue campaigns, coalition building, grassroots initiatives and e-advocacy mobilization. 
“We’re excited to welcome Erik to our grassroots team as we expand our presence in Washington and nationally,” said Steve Horton, senior vice president and director of McGuireWoods Consulting’s Grassroots Issues Management team. “His 15 years of traditional and online issue advocacy and proven ability to get results through innovative means will benefit our clients in these dynamic times.”
Prior to joining McGuireWoods Consulting, Erik served as director of State Grassroots for In that capacity, he supervised and organized advocacy messaging and programs for all 50 states, including all social media platforms.
Erik has also served as the Northeast Political Director for the National Federation of Independent Business and as the Mid-Atlantic Political Manager for the Associated Builders & Contractors. Before that, he served as deputy political director to U.S. Senator Rod Grams (R-MN).
