The Democratic State Central Committee will begin vetting potential candidates to run for Lieutenant Governor alongside current Governor Pat Quinn. Meanwhile, Republican Gubernatorial candidate Kirk Dillard has begun his recount effort. However, it is unclear how far Dillard will take his challenge of Senator Bill Brady’s surprise victory.
