Christine Eppstein, Vice-President for Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility, will attend the Environmental Council of the States (ECOS) Annual Spring Meeting, taking place in Alexandria, VA.

ECOS is unique, in that no other national organization exists which can focus on the exact point at which national environmental policy and state implementation intersect. ECOS members have responsibility for cross-cutting issues within their agencies and instituting an overall vision for protecting the environment in their states. Therefore, matters discussed at the meeting will affect our clients, directly or indirectly. In addition, EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson and White House Council of Environmental Quality Chair Nancy Sutley are expected to attend.

Christine’s relationship with ECOS is long-standing, having worked with the organization for 7 years before joining McGuireWoods Consulting. Feel free to contact Christine regarding ECOS at aeppstein@mwcllc.com.
