On March 17, Christine Eppstein, Vice-President for Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility, was a panelist at the executive seminar “Achieving Sustainability in Today’s Economy in a Carbon and Nutrient Capped World”. The Seminar addressed the scope of providing Northern Virginia utilities and localities resources that would help them enhance their sustainability and promote green projects.
 
Christine discussed implications of expanded federal funding driveing the need to plan and develop sustainable “shovel ready” projects. Her presentation is available for download below.
 
The keynote address was given by L. Preston Bryant, Jr., Cabinet Secretary of Natural Resources in Virginia. Speakers from McGuireWoods LLP included partners Dan Slone, David Evans and Neal Cabral.
