On February 4th, Virginia Governor Tim Kaine announced that Hilton Hotels Corporation, the world’s leading hospitality company, will relocate its global headquarters in Fairfax County.  The company will invest at least $17 million and create 300 full-time jobs within the next 36 months.  Susan Liberty and Chris Lloyd, with the McGuireWoods Consulting Business Expansion team, led the economic development incentives negotiations for Hilton Hotels.  Governor Kaine approved a $1 million grant from the Governor’s Opportunity Fund and $2.5 million from the Virginia Economic Development Incentive Grant for the project.
