Heather Martin, Vice President of Issues Management with McGuireWoods Consulting has recently been appointed by Virginia Governor Tim Kaine to serve on the Virginia Board of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR).
 
The Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation licenses over 300,000 individuals and businesses including architects and contractors. The agency enforces standards of professional conduct for professions and occupations as designated by statute. DPOR regulates more than 30 occupations and professions through 19 boards.
