On October 14, 2008,Washington Business Journal and the Greater Washington Board of Trade will jointly host the first annual Greater Washington Green Business Awards. These awards will acknowledge area businesses that made the most effective and meaningful efforts to incorporate sustainable practices beneficial to the local community, the environment and local economy.
