Continental Tire North America announced on July 16, 2008 that the company would be expanding its Mount Vernon, Illinois tire manufacturing facility. The expansion represents a more than $60 million investment and will lead to the creation of approximately 75 new jobs. Chris Lloyd and Susan Liberty with the McGuireWoods Consulting Business Expansion team represented Continental in the economic development incentives negotiations.
